Chemistry Paper 2 simple question

I have a question from Chemistry Paper 2. It is from Oct/Nov 2007 Paper 2 question no. 1 b(ii)
Draw sketches to show orbital overlap that produces the "sigma" bonding in the H2 and HCL/ molecule.
I saw the mark scheme but it only says that s-s overlap should be shown. I don't understand
Please try to attach a diagram rather than just words.
P.S. I have my Chemistry Paper 1 & 2 internal examinations tommorow.
