Chemistry Paper 23

how was the chemistry paper 23?
I lost 4 marks due to careless mistakes in organic compound!
and with some other marks in front, i guess i lost about 8 marks dy..
some still unknown..can i still get A?
btw, im a retake candidate ..i shouldnt do any careless mistake so sad!!!!

the paper was quite pleasing compared to past years ones.. i too always did some careless mistakes but i think it should be okay that's alright, be positive. i too wasn't really sure with the calculations. usually, the threshold for paper was about 46-48 so i think you should get an A ameen

the calculation part costs 5 marks.. did you manage to answer it? i did not answer all of it.. it's quite confusing..

No. yea,it is quite confusing when come to the number of moles. I think I only gain marks for the mass of carbon and hydrogen. Izzit 0.36g for carbon? And the empirical formula for B is C4H8O right?

so do i.. yep2, when you did add the mass for both carbon and hydrogen, you shud get exactly like what it provides in early part i.e the mass of the hydrocarbon.. but i stucked when it asked for the moles for B, yes, i got that too

So I think I comfirm lost 8 marks dy..hopefully the ionisation that part I got all correct..not afford to lose any marks anymore..bless u can score A too my fren score A A C, C for paper 1 last time and both A for paper 2 and 3 still able to score an a in AS..so paper 2 is really important
