I added 1 cm first then i added in excess.PLZ TELL ME that was aqueous ammonia supposed to be added in excess to FB6 or 1cm3 was to be added???
Sulfate, sulphite, zinc, magnesium, aluminium and lead. What were the possible ions present in FB6?
Not sulfiteSulfate, sulphite, zinc, magnesium, aluminium and lead.
But sulphite also gives a white ppt with Ba2+ and the result was positive. Not sulfite
the salt was added to nitric acid in the preparation so if there had been any sulfite so2 whould have been liberated so it can't be sulfite and also if there had been a possibility of two anions there would have been further tests to ensure which one was present. But sulphite also gives a white ppt with Ba2+ and the result was positive.
the question paper stated this!^^^^^^^^^^^^^^u already knew the INSTRUCTIONS THEN!!!!! Y DIDNT U TELL US
it was zinc, carbonate and iodide :/what were the ions in fb7?
i wrote iodide carbonate and cloride
cloride becasue we added agno3 to the solid and added ammonia so it dissolved.. im not sure if zinc is right though because youve added agno3 already...idk you tell
