CIE A Level Grade A*

AOA.I appeared for my CIE AS exams in june 2011 and got 4 A's(in Biology,Physics,Chemistry and Maths).The individual grades in my subjects were as follows:

1)Biology P1:A,P2:A and P3:B Overall:A
2)Chemistry P1:A,P2:A and P3:B Overall:A
3)Physics P1:A,P2:B and P3:B Overall A
4)Mathematics P1:A,S1:B Overall A

My question is if it is still possible for me to score A*'s in my A2 exams with these grades in my component papers?

Yes it is surely possible!

Definitely. You scored the top grade on each subject and if you keep up the good work, A*s are pretty much guaranteed.

Oh yeah definetly. Just try your hardest. Keep in mind that an A grade is still PRETTY good.

I've heard that you need an A grade in each componenet paper to score an A*.Is that true?and @trgirl i had straight A*s in O Level.stick to your syllabus,do the past papers within the time limit given.if you have plenty of time before the exams,then revise each topic,do the topical past papers for that topic and then ask your teacher to assess you.follow this and you'll ace your exams without any difficulty.

i got 82% in AS Chem. if iget a D in P5 component and manage to get an A/B in P4 component can i score more than 80% in A2 ??????
