Whats so difficult in compilation of ahadith.
Just start from COMPILATION during the lifetime of the prophet till the "Saha Sitta", If they simply ask bout the compilation.
or
If they ask to write about the Events that led to the compilation of ahadith in the Six Authoritative Books, then u r supposed to write bout the "THREE AGES" i.e Age of companions of the Prophet (S.A.W) > Tabayen > Taba Tabayen!!!! with little introduction of the Six Book!!!
That's all!!!
