I got an overall A in physics As with As in p1 and p2 and a E in practical. Can I still get an A* by any chance?by really acing my p4?

Yes you can. Just ace the P4 with 80+ marks and P5 with 25+ marks and your A* is 100% guaranteed but obviously its not as easy as it sounds you need to work really hard!
Plus A2 has almost 1/4th more weightage for your A levels result than your AS grade, thats why some people who get a high C in AS chemistry/physics end up getting an A* overall after giving A2 and this has happened in my school!
e.g Student 1 - Student 2
AS = 90th percentile AS = 70th percentile
A2 = 70th percentile A2 = 90th percentile
overall grade = A overall grade = A*

thats why if you notice average in past year papers of A2 no threshold has gone beyond 70 marks to obtain an A grade in P4! just don't lose focus and remain consistent then anything is possible.
