Could someone help me in maths problem?

I didn't know where to my post my question so I created a new thread.. I hope admin don't mind

I have a problem in maths question, and I need someone to explain it to me since I homeschooling I have got no one for help.

exchange rate is

uk pounds = 0.63 = 1 US Dollar

Euro 0.93 = 1 US dollar

The question is


A jaguar XJS is sold in several countries at the prices given below.

Britain 15, 000 pounds

France 29,490 euros

USA 25,882 dollars


write out in order a list of the prices converted into pounds.

I have the same question in my maths book and I tried to solve it several times but I don't know I am not getting it right .

maybe the answer in the book is wrong.. i couldn't get france one right.

Yes Exactly ! I got USA right but not France . What's was the answer of question no 7 The one Below this question . How did you solve it ?

The answer of question no.7 is also wrong... it should be 651 and not 752.68

0.93 : 1

? : 700

My teacher told me to solve proportion questions this way..

boths sides are gonna increase so cross multiply it.. andwhen you cross multiply you get 651
