projectile, let says initial velocity is u ( i guess it was 14 sth, but cant remeber)
and the time is t and the 36 degree-------> for horizontal, no acc, so s=ut=ucos36 x time taken ( cant remeber)
and for vertical, acc= -g ------> s=ut+0.5at^2 = usin36 x time taken + 0.5 x (-9.81) x (time taken)^2
therefore i got about 1.7m and 1.1m (not sure tho)

u meant projectile?
i was confused the cardboard question. and the voltmeter, why not 10v meter???
and the wave loss power? i never came across about power in wave.
and the last question, beta particles, idk just guessed.[/quote]

yea projectile one ...i got diff one n my frdx also got diff...none of ours matched.. :(
voltemeter one i also didnt get it...
for the wave one i wrote that amplitude was decreasing n stuff like dat....

:? em afraid i didnt do this way...was totally confused at this one...n
i think 5 -6 markx on stake :?

and for derive formula, E=1/2 k x^2
u had to metion about " average force = 0.5F "

yea it wax a past paper question..
one mark for mentionin dat area under graph = 1/2kx
nd f=kx
..substitutin f...it becumx 1/2 k x^2

which part of the graph you shade, is it area between the lines, and the Es energy, isn't the area between the two curves?

for projectile i got 1.7 and 1.1 like supermagic!
for the tension i got 35 and many at my crntre got the same ans...
on the whole the paper was easy except for the many explain question..
anyway,it is over..what is done is done..

Loly even my tensn was 35 cuz v had 2 components, 25 n reaction both...

Tension was 14.3 , i.e means 25sin(35), coz the string was parallel to the slope, and was making 90 degree with the reaction force, so u cant calc. that

really????? but normal force is nohing to do with the tension
tension is jst mgsin35 where mgis 25N it's simple quiestion in M1

yeah, it cannot be just 25sin35 because there will be a resultant force in this case and the object is stationary!
And this question is worth 3marks,it cannot be that simple..

im afraid of P5,esp the design question!!!

in M1 it's just simple question that's the answer, 14.3N
and it says draw a vector triangle otherwise..... that means u had to draw a vector triangle.

yes it was 25sin55 + rcos35...
v had to find r first...

I did that too but doesn't make no sense mechanics wise because it had to do only with the component along the slope....... So 14.3 it is !!!!!

wat were ur forces acting on the card board.
for the beta particle i wrote they are too small and negativly charged so attracted to the nucleus
