I wrote the same, but I also specified that due to it's light weight it's used in OVERHEAD cables, assuming many cables are fitted underground, and they're more resistant to decay than they are light :xIGSCE.Geek.
I don't know i wrote that it was a poor conductor of heat and that it is light
what did you guys write about the properties of plastic that enables it to be used in electrical cables?
hey um, i would like to know if what i wrote for plastic and aluminium is correctI wrote the same, but I also specified that due to it's light weight it's used in OVERHEAD cables, assuming many cables are fitted underground, and they're more resistant to decay than they are light :x
InshaAllah everybody will get A*. ^^
hey um, i would like to know if what i wrote for plastic and aluminium is correct
For plastic insulation i wrote:
For aluminium i wrote
- high melting point
- can be molded to provide maximum insulation
- low density( aerodynamic)
- resistant to corrosion (oxide layer which makes it suitable for storms )
yeah , its right..I wrote poor conductor to heat.
