With less than a week until the exam, I thought it might be nice to start a post with some advice and predictions about what could come up.
I'm doing the Emily Dickinson option for poetry and Jane Eyre for prose. What texts are you doing and what do you think might come up? What are you hoping for?
I think that those of us who are doing Dickinson can safely say that A Bird came down the Walk will not be making a reappearance as it was on the January paper but other than that it could be any of the fourteen remaining poems. One of the english teachers at my school predicted that it was probably going to be something more gothic now that we've seen one nature poem. Unfortunately, with Dickinson that doesn't really narrow it down too much.
