Its not a biggie!
Just refer to as you're actually narrating an incident, but make sure to end it with your name! Watch a tv news channel report you'll get it!

The tone, choice of vocabulary, sentence structures matters more than the points you can think of.

@Jezla: You can begin directly. "On 14th December 2009, a "devastating" accident took place taking 130 "innocent" lives"


("selection of words") <------------ an example.
