u must already know the basic formula tri square pralleol trapezium
so now u need the 3 d ones
for all prisms
volume =base area x height of prism
eg cuboid
cylinder

so
23= = 4x + 3
SOLVE IT!
x=5 -answer
c(ii)
Solve the equation h(x) = 7.
Show all your working and give your answers correct to 2 decimal places
h(x) = x2+ 5x
sooooooooo
7= x2 + 5x
which means
x2+ 5x-7=0
use quadratic formula !
to get x value ans make it 2 dp
