The name of the hero can ofc be changed :p
Valentino Santoni, an ordinary man in the terrorist organisation established in Corsica, France, finds his top three leaders to be assassinated by the French police.

The Flnc decides to strike back, and with Valentino as their leader convinces the Corsican civilians to stand up for independence.

But the Italian, to whom Corsica had once belonged, under the pretences of helping the Flnc takes over half the island. Valentino is suddenly on the run;

From the Corsicans: to whom he was a traitor.

From the French: to whom he was the cause of this mayhem

From the Italians: to whom he poses a lethal threat.

I assume flnc is the terrorist organisation :D
and the terrorist cum freedom fighters angle is a bit confusing though, our hero is a good guy so why not skip the terrorist thingy :p
how did he become a traitor, he was helping corsicans ?? :confused:

see how abt this... an organisation that started for the sake of freedom where people gave funds freely to them... but then wen the people see that the objective is far fetched a bit impossible to reach and they see that people are not willing to give funds as they once were, so they try bank robberies and forcefully collecting revolutionary taxes?
terrorist organisation is important as they are rebeles to the french govt

My novel all in all is about an island named Corsica… situated between France and Italy, the island has a history of being dominated and crushed under different rules. The birth place of Napoleon has been subject to great injustices and have ever longed for independence. Holding a population of only 302000, and their major source of revenue being tourism, the idea of independence do seem farfetched, but history tell us that in 1729 the island did actually gain independence under the rule of General Pasquale Paoli though it lasted for around fifteen years only. The island was then taken over, and still is a part of France.

A major thing that we need to undestand ios the culture of that place... u can safely say that its sort of godfather inspired culture with lesser brains and more amunition... they can kill and kill freely just for things as small as parking lot.
With napolean and pasquale paopli being ther hero the children are taught war tactics from their childhood

The flnc did in fact came for independence then it split into three parts. one of them resigned... the part a thought that everything was ok in the name of independence and started shooting n killing all tat came in the way of them even tourists from france and policemen... the part b were a touch more merciful and decided that only the bulidings shud b destroyed and people shouldnt be harmed...
at one point the clashes btw the 2 became so many that they started fighting among themselves killing freely members of each other ( all facts) then in 2000 the two joined hands reached a reconciliation and refocused the faces of their guns towards the french, the long forgotten enemy.

Under the pressure of the lost leaders the leaders that remain behind decide to go on the plan their ancestors had originally planned and urge the hero to start a revolution under his great but hidden skills. without preparation they start a revolution that starts to be a success owing to the leadership qualities of the hero. The Italians after negotiations plan to help the Corsican and provide help in forms of ammunition and manpower not to mention money. together they drive out the french of half the corsica...

when the french retreat and the corsicans ask the italian troops to retreat and give the corsicans bak the promised corsica... they refuse saying that they have no intention of giving bak the isle to corsica and they have taken revenge against the french who had long ago snatched corsica from their possession. they also order the hero to be killed at sight as he has the power to influence the minds of the corsicans against italians as they did with te french... and thus the hero runs away
