furher mechanics is a creep

hi,
every1. i am nw to ths forum. hope i'll get on well. i wanted suggestions on further mechanics. if anyone is free pls explain the components and resolution of forces to me. thanks

there are two components of a force
1. x component (also called horizontal component) which can b determined by using formula Fcos@ (where F is force being applied, nd @ is the angle which it is making with horizontal)
2. y component (or vertical component) can b determined using Fsin@
P.S this is not further mechanics just basic A level physics :/

yeah, there is a 'z' component aswell, and there can be infinite components, depending on teh number of planes......
and further mech is a part of further maths?? aint it??
