Further Mathematics Help!

Hello All,
I want your honest opinion regarding a level further mathematics?is it POSSIBLE to get an A in further mathematics?and what is the most appropriate time needed for preparation if i want to give in nov 2011?

Also plz suggest some good books?

I don't know much about further maths but yes it is possible to get not only a A but also an A*.
One student from my school got an A*.
