Why is there rainfall from the Western Depressions??

In winter a high pressure region develops over the Mediterranean Sea. The west of Pakistan has a lower pressure. Winds flows towards the western side of Pakistan and result in the formation of clouds, hence causing rainfall.

Hey Zohaib, How can u say that there is a LOW PRESSURE AREA in west of Pakistan in DEC-MARCH. There is a winter season in Pakistan in the stated months.
There might be some other reason for this.
plz can u find out. In Book they have only given the Path of the Winds.

no question will come that says " why is there low pressure in west pakistan" trust me

Winds flow down pressure gradients. And a cooler season in Pakistan does not mean it can have relatively lower pressure in any other area. I know A level geography but am hesitating to use it here. It will never help you to think beyond your level. Such a detail will not be asked in O levels.
