Okay...don't take my words for granted because my calculations are based on the Jan 2013 grade boundaries. I suppose you have to get an average of B in Maths AS. You got 43/75 (the minimum C for Jan 2013). If you get an A in both C2 and M1, then you will have 64/75 for both (minimum A for Jan 2013). In UMS the total is C1=60/100, C2=80/100, and M1=80/100. Total will be: 220/300 in UMS. To get an average of B in AS Maths you need at least 210/300. So YEA! You can if you get As in both C1 and M1. Good Luck!

For physics...You got a D in unit 1. That is a 34/80 which is in UMS 60/120. If you get two As in Unit 2 and 3 then that will be 56/80 and 32/40 respectively, 96/120 and 48/60 in UMS. In total that will be: (60+96+32)/(120+120+60)= 188/300. To get an average of B in physics AS then you need to get 210/300. It seems that you can't get an average B but will get a C.

Please don't take my calculations for granted. You still can get a B if (lets see 210-188=22) you get more UMS marks extra. I calculated assuming you will get two As in Unit 2 and 3 from the minimum grade required. If you get a little higher in both units than required which you will if you get an A, then you will have a high chance of getting an average B in Physics AS.

However, let me remind you that you are trying to jump from a C and a D to As. You can do it, but its easier said than done. You need to put in lots of effort and time to achieve your goal. If you have the intention and confidence you can achieve an average B in both Physics and Maths. Good Luck!
