How am I supposed to practise for "Cloze Passages"? Should I read urdu newspapers, magazines etc.?

Solve the ones given in the book of Mujib ur Rehman or Batool Ali. The more you will practice, the better idea you would have.

cloze passages require your vocabulary skills as in exam they give you some of the words with which u r not familiar. First read the passage without entering the words, this will give you a general theme of the passage. then try inserting the words you are familiar with in the blanks and along with that delete the words u used and u are sure are not intended to be used. with the remaining words and blanks, it will make it easy to guess the words which u do not know.

Cloze passages test your ability on understanding when a certain word is to be used appropriately. Urdu reading in general will help you.
