Help needed!!

Assalamoalaikum!!
I just want to confirm that we dont need to take english for A level if one plans to go to pakistan for further studies...cuz i think for the entry test we have a section for english as well...and one more question..what is the right time to start preparation for the entry test..just asking...i've just started AS

I think it is based on your Olevel english paper result........

It's one of the compulsory subjects of O Level, but you don't need to take it in A Level.
The entry tests usually have basic English based questions such as sentence correction, comprehension etc, so practice your basic grammar and you should be fine!
However, you should check the respective institute/university website to find out what kind of entry test hold make and the tentative schedule.
