Help with COUNT=

Hi

Any1 knows about this count= thing. Where does the initial value start from? In most cases it start from 0 but when it doesn't how should I know where it starts from? :( I can't find the 2009 october/november paper but in there it asked if u input 56 what answer will u get and the answer was 4, how did it come to that?
