Which statements about the reaction of solid sodium bromide with concentrated sulfuric acid are
correct?
1 Hydrogen bromide is a product of the reaction.
2 Sulfuric acid is oxidised to sulfur dioxide.
3 Bromide ions are reduced to bromine.

In H2SO4, oxidation number of sulphur is +6 while that in SO2 is +4. thus Sulfuric acid is reduced to sulfur dioxide.
same concept for 3, bromide is oxidised to bromine as oxidation number increases from -1 to 0.
