hey would you happen to know how to solve this ..
maximum value of f(x)
when f(x)=9-(x-2)^2
thank you ... =) =)easy; take it's derivative.. at max value, derivative (or slope) = 0
i.e. f'(x) = 0
sove that equation to get x=something
put this value of x in f(x)=9-(x-2)^2 to get f(x) = the max value...
