See I'm not sure but do you mean that when the customer is using his credit card on the point of sale

as the barcode is read by the barcode reader the computer starts searching the stock file for a matching barcode number as it is found it deducts one of the item from the number of items it compares number of items with the reorder level if it same so reorders from supplier and finally stock file is updated
