Anyone who remembers what the shaded area region expression was in terms of r and theta
and how did u exactly calculated radius of semicirle in terms of r ?

I used trig ratios by bisecting the angle and then applying sinO then formed the expression of radius of semicircle in terms of r
then AREA of SEMICIRCLE + area of triangle -(area of sector)

please do reply with your workings :|

The formula in that Shaded Region Q
Wasn't it like Area of Semicircle - (area of arc + area of Segment) ?? :/

Same. I wrote all real numbers..
p<0.5

Apply the discriminant using

6^2 - 4(i dont exactly remember x value)(5-p)<0

It would give the range to be p<0.5
I even checked on my calculator to be sure

The binomial one, were the first answers 240x^2 and -160x^3 and the second ans 540x^3?

Values of c were 2.5 and -3.5 .I got that tan theta one wrong im sure as my ans were for tan=-1 and 6 somehow so i got 80.5 and 135.Im sure those are wrong though.Did you manage to prove that trig identity?
