Just wondering. I'm appearing for AS Chemistry these May-June and I'm looking to start past papers in another 7-10 days or so. Is this ok?

Yes, it is ok btw you should start it sooner. You should start solving p.p as soon as you finish your course.

Solving past papers along with the course itself is a great way to check your progress. That way you'll know your weak points and you can concentrate more on them.
Starting now would be a good idea :)
