How to get A*s??

The %UM is 90%, it has nothing to do with the actual A* boundary it is merely a conversion ratio. And remember A*'s are not that hard to achieve if you have worked hard. Normally around 20% on entrants get A*'s in each subject.

Well won't they be calculating that after the exams? Or is it the same fr every yeaR?

umm...most probably if u get A's in all papers they add up to an A*
for example you give math p2 and p4 and get A in both then ur overall grade will be an A*

Two things, one the grade boundaries may vary each year but in the last 5 years this variation has only ever been a few %. Secondly if you get A's in all components it is NOT an A*, it is an A. To get an A* you need to get a much higher mark than the A mark, if you look at my thread I have posted last years A* boundaries.
