How to Prepare Microscopic Slides????

Since its confirmed dat we gonna get a plant and we hv to cut its longitudanal section and then c it under microscope... Plz any1 tel me that how vil we cut da longitudinal section and then how we vil prepare dat cut section so as to view it under da microsope??? Plz help... Thnx...

well if it asks for the cut of a stem then we cut the stem in to EXTREMELY small pieces and then put the thinnest piece on a slide. on to this we add one drop of iodine (or water some ppl use) to prevent the thin stem piece from drying up. we put on the glass piece on top of this and view it under the microscope. im sure this is all but if anyone has something different to say please do say!

how to prevent air bubbles from coming in our slide??

we have to put the little square glass piece on as top part first then bottom part so we kindof bend it a little on to the slide....hope this makes sence :/
