the question was:
1)draw a chord at two given pts then find the gradient of the chord!
2)draw a tangent to the curve which has the same gradient as the chord!

you just have to draw a parallel line where it touches the curve only...its so simple!

Can I get anyone to confirm the question was that? Cause I thought the question was draw a tangent at the point where the chord and the curve meets.

Actually the first part was a rotation of 180 degrees about midpoint of line RS(centre)

and the last part was a two way stretch with stretch factors 2 and 3 for stretch parallel to x axis and y axis respectively...

No, I mean the volume and stuff, lemme share my answer for a start

The height when the base is ABD = 5 cm

volume = 20.83 cm^3
surface area of BCD = 21.64 cm^2
and the height of the pyramid when the base is BCD = 2.89 cm

I don't know if my answers are correct though, so anyone care to discuss the answers with me?
