@ ying27kia
you use workdone= forces x distance which is s
and v2=u2 + 2as
then force = mass x acc
acc = force/mass
replace in v2= u2+ 2(f/m)s
rearranging... 2(f/m)s = v2- U2
fs = 1/2 (v2- u2)m
thus work done is 1/2 m (v2) hence the k.E eqt

they said that from the maximum displacement to the minimum dislplacement (i.e from the antinode to the node) the distance covered is 6.7 cm... 0.067m
hence the wavelength is (2 x 0.067).... frequency is 2500 Hz... so the speed will be 335 m.s-1

aand yes the answer for the first part of Kirchoff's Law is I2 = I1 + I3

yup i got the same results for the two! but i m not sure about the other 2 kirchoff's law equations :S

wat were the graphs??
and how does alpha particle lose energy?

Alpha particles have a high ionization power and they lose energy by ionization.
yes i wrote that! :D but it was kind of a guess! :p

there are 4 segments in the graph
0 m/s to 18 m/s.
Constant speed at 18 m/s.
Decreases to 0 m/s till 12.5
becomes constant again at negative 12.5 till 100seconds

anyone remember the answer for the electric part and speed of wave? :(
I got 168 ms-1
for the electric part is it I1+I3=I2 ?
speed for the wave for 335...u had to multiply 6.67 with 2 to get the full wave length and yeah i1 +i2=i3 is right =)
