Why not? It'll avg. out (ppr 3 is only 12% weight and ppr 2 23%). Just depends on how much u "screwed up" in those pprs. High grades in 1, 4, 5, will def. bring it up. Remember, ur UMS only has to be an 80 up for an A. ;)

For the last question (q 40)

was the answer random but can predict half life?
Don't know if its right but yes i chose that.

i dont think it was a...because it was random decay...the count could have gone up...it was a trick question

the answer is A i thought. it is random decay since the count rate is fluctuating. the count rate can be higher or lower. but it cant be higher from the original count rate which is 424.. and the halflife is in 90 minutes where the count rate is 212.

@skyfox
see u understood the question wrong, the count rate is 440 at the start and 220 at the end
between 0-10 it is 440, and 80-90 220
if at 0 mins the count rate is 440 and at 80 mins it is 220 then half life is 80 mins
there maybe a large range of half lifes so then it is unkown

The answer is cannot be predicted;;; who has accounted for background counts???
we could have determined the half life if we were able to find many; for e.g the time for 3 half lives.
Then we could find an average!!!
So the answer is B;half life is uncertain!!!!!!!
