time was 70 seconds... how i did it was work put time for car to travel 990m i got 60 seconds for motorcycle its t for car+ 10 so 70 seconds and acceleration i got 0.4

can someone explain how they found the time of the motorcycle?? i worked out the time for the car and then added 10 seconds on.... i used u=0, v=22, s=990, and i worked out acceleration with v^2=u^2 + 2as, giving 22^2 = 2 x 990a, and a came out as 0.24, then i used v=u+at, and t came out as 92??? :/

ok sure will do... we know that that in the first 30 seconds the car traveled 330m.... 30x22/2(triangle)... after that it was at 22m/s for awhile so what i did was 990-330=660... now 660/22 = 30(square so dividing by speed gets time) seconds as well... we know that when the biker met with car speed of car was 22 so it hadnt decelerated upto then... so 30+30=60 now for biker it was 10 more seconds... 60+10= 70...
