They do not cut marks for writing beyond the lines given!! because in my English comprehension paper i wrote wayyyy beyond the lines and there was a lot of cutting and a lot of arrows drawn but still i managed to get an A*!! btw my teacher also told me to refrain from writing beyond the given lines!
