the tree diagram its not logical to have 1/3 for each try i think. rather ive started by 3 branches namely A1 A2 and A3 and broke them into 2 (right and wrong) anyone did this ?

the tree diagram was like the one where the question said that someone tries to call his friend if you remember, idk how to post a pic on here so just imagine the first branch correct (1/3) wrong (2/3) then from the wrong branch another 2 options correct (1/2) wrong (1/2) then from the wrong branch another branch correct (1) wrong (0)
It stops everytime he answer is correct, tries again if wrong and like without replacement prob
And the variable x was 1,2,3 p(X=x) all 1/3, e(x)=2
I think this was one of the easiest questions

lols ur right.....i was actually paranoid of the thought of a question being this easy....that i rechecked multiple times to make sure i wasn't missing anything xD

1st - 48C43
2nd - 6! x 5!
- 6! x 7P4
3rd - 1/324
- 0.0212
4th - Tree diagram
- E(X) = 2 attempts
5th - P(X<8) was easy to find
- q was 7.74
- P(X<4 mean) = 1 - P(X<2)
6th - cumulative frequency graph
- h = 15.6 cm or 21.5 cm (not sure)
- SD = 6.01
