Here are few points I made on History and Compilation of hadith.

-after death of Prophet(s) need for guidance and accurate interpertation of Quran was felt.
-When Islam had spreaded widely new converts wanted to hear about the Prophet(s) from his close companions.
-these companions became source of knowledge for later converts as they people had seen and observed the sayings and actions of Holy Prophet(s).
-Individuals like Abu Hurairah, Abdullah bin Abbas, Anas bin Malik includings the wives of Prophet(s) were looked upon as vital custodians of Ahadis and were approached for instructions.
-With the passing of time many companions passed away and hadith became the property of teachers who taught at various centers.
-The Umayyad Calip Umar II was the first one to issue an order that written compilation should be made towards the end of first century after Hijra.
-The most authoritive and first collection was "Al-Muwatta" by Imam Malik.
-Another Important collection was of Imam Ahmed bin Hanbal.
-Upto the beginning of third century the hadith were mixed between authentic and unauthentic.
-Imam Bukhari was the first person to express the Idea of compliling Authentic hadith.
-Another Complilations were of Imam Muslim,Abu Daud,Trimizi,Sunan of Nasai and Sunan of Ibn Majah.These were all authentic hadith and of Musanaf type.
-towards the end of fourth century all the hadiths were compliled between authentic and unauthentic

yaar i gotta add some things in this.

after HP death also another reason for hadith compilation necessaary was the use of it in legal thinking the leaders wanted to know what the prophet did in such situations so it was not feasible to go to every companion so it was required.

also after Umar 2 the hadiths on orders were also collected that is in Madina when Umar 2 told the governor of madina he also told for collecting hadiths on order.

ull find point 2 in mastering Olevels read a little from there too. !!! its pretty good.

yeah and when the successors of successors rose no authentic hadiths were existing so first time laws were made for authenticity.
The rest answer is pretty good write this with addition and ull surely get A* and write a quote of prophet saying that to spread his words in begining or anywhere if this is possible.

firstly plz calm down !! secondly I have already mentioned some information about Sihah Sitta !! and for your post I would also like to tell you that Majority regards this as right and your the only one thinking this as wrong so plz provide some evidence !!

sorry for using little harsh words.... i didnt mean to be rude.....and as far as ans is concerned we hve to write the features of sahih bukhari and ahih muslim of 6 to 7 lines and the remaining fours' of 2-3 lines....i thnk so...may be i am wrong.....we shuldconsult other on this matter ...mean to say other leading members of XPF....

if the question comes write a note on the history and compilation of hadith than u have to in clude a little bit of prophets time like abu huraira was the one who used to learn the hadiths while other companions used to write it. some example sahifa of hazrat Ali and SADIQA of ABDULLA BIN UMAR then include the points provided by salman and sourcer after it write the four compilation of shias and a little about difference between sunni and shia compilation.

man no no if they will give they will give one of the two, they will either give how were hadith compiled in
1.Prophets life or
2.After his demise

both wont come as they contain too much matter to write for 10 marks.
but why in the world are u gonna write abt differences they have nothing to do here its totally useless,youll waste time and get 0 marks for this so i say dont write differences,if u wanna add Shia ones do add but abt like two lines are enuf on them.
