well it depends what u are talkin abt but no if u say that the no. of verse as in the quran like Verse 101 of this Suarah tells this this ....... Itss not important then because all u need is main theme except if u know a particular event special ones abt that verse then go for this otherwise useless.

are we to get extra marks if we you know explain the verse number and all because i have gone through marking schemes again and again but they just write the ref no with them!!

in what the questions right normal ones not Surah ones i dont think there are any extra marks for this ts just a rumour thats what i think.

as far as i know we need to go thru all the ahadis we r havin in our syllabus .. and just give an overview from all as though we are discussing the main points about the responsibilities of a muslim .. lyk ..
it is necessary for a muslim to be sincere to everythin he is doing .. a muslim should always follow his Lord and the Messengers sent by Him .. and the divine message revealed .. on the contrary he should be sincere with his fellows and the people leading him .. sincerity is a big responsibility for a true believer ..
muslim is endowed with the responsibility of his fellow .. like a muslim suffering claims his fellow muslim's piety ..
then a muslim is supposed not to hurt any one by his heart ir tongue .. generosity should be the main aspect of a true believer
a muslim shall observe the pillars of islam and act as he is guided by the Prophet ...
charity is the treasury of islam and charity shall be given by all the muslims to keep up a healthy state .. all muslims are to give charity in the way of allah ... it is responsibility of a muslim to keep his community healthy and wealthy .. charity is not bound to be in form of financial help .. all the helps you can provide your fellow with are a form of charity ...
it is a responsibility of every muslim to keep the evil out of his society
helping poor needy etc is a responsibility of all muslims
it is responsibility of a muslim to gain knowledge .. and be on the right path
modesty another responsibility ..
lastly it is the responsibility of all the true believers to be good in their actions in this world and should do everything in an anticipation of death ...
these are the points u need to give shape to get a good answer as per as i think .. if em wrong plzzzzz correct me i dnt want to do blunders in exams .. thanks

here, give reference to the A part of these ahadis. hadis 2, 3, 5(very important), 6, 7, 9, 10, and 17. five references are enough but make sure that you only discuss thje "resposnsibility" part of it and not the part which promises a reward for him.
the concept is that from the ahadis in your syllabus, chose the ones which talk about a SINGLE man, not the ones about jihad, martyrdom, leadership, community love, or REWARDS for faith and punishments for sin.

Oh !! can you please also explain that in Syllabus it is written " the major themes of the Quran as contained both in the passages set for special study and in other similar passages" under the heading of history and importance of Quran. what does this mean and furthermore "the major themes of the hadiths as these are contained both in the passages set for special study and in other similar passages" so what does this means ??
