I heard that if CIE lose any of your exam papers, you get A* in that subject. Is that true? xD

Partially correct , Infact if they lose ur papers u get the expected grade the teacher had set for u

^Exactly what shoaib said, although I always hated this system. What if you performed really well, and had chances of getting an A*? If they lost the paper, then you might end up with the crap predicted grade you got before, like a C or something.
