and you could not use the value of pi as answer was to be given in its terms

i wrote it as 1/3 (pie)(r) + 2r. i multiplied 1/6 by 2. it would be acceptable.....








yeah sorry forgot to put *2 over here but i did put *2 in paper.! :mrgreen:

secondly we can use pie = 22/7
i asked my maths sir for confirmation.!
he said we can use 22/7 as it is standard value for pie.!
to give evidence he also showed me 2009 marking scheme .!

obviously they will accept 22/7 .!
but still try to write pie next time .! =) =)

But They have specifically stated to use 3.142.
For example in Phys 2/3 is not accepted even if it is correct. They only accept .667.
There is a diff between being standard and accepted.
Why not do it simply and be safe.
P.S: i also had a problem as i was used to 22/7.
