is that possible if i want to take the whole A LEVEL Math next yearr?? well you see, M1 ruined my AS Math may june recently. so i'm planning to retake as in to improve my P1 marks and M1 marks (of course), next year may june 2011.. Also doing P3 and S1 at the same time. on the whole, i might be taking the whole Math paper next year. -___-' is that a good decision?? why people keep saying it is not advisable to resit the whole paper in one sitting??? :| i dont want to take the exam, this upcoming nov paper coz, my M1 suck really bad. i need time to start all over again. oh man, i hope i am capable to do that. Allah help! what u guys think??

If there is rule to retake AS then you can resit in that.(But i dont think as AS marks are carried forwarded in A2)

2nd if you have no burden and your grade of maths has been ruined by M1 or somehow P1.
then You can retake of whole maths(one can get A/A*) .

Getting an A/A* is cool so you can make efforts.Hopes you will get.

You can resit for AS Maths in Oct/Nov or you can prepare all four papers and give them in May/June, it all depends on you.
Either way you will have to work extra hard on P3 because that is the grade maker. If you can score high in P3 then you will definitely score high in other papers.

My suggestion to you is that don't sit in Oct/Nov this year, instead prepare yourself for May/June 2011. This way you will have more time to prepare for them and would be in a more comfortable and confident state of mind regarding your preparation. But don't waste time and focus mainly on P3, while sufficiently preparing the other 3 papers as well.

It is good to retake in May/June 2011 rather than appearing in Oct/Nov 2010 due to shortage of time.
No Doubt P3 has been weighted more than any other paper. Definitely you should take maximum marks in P3.
appearing in Full A level is also a good suggestion for getting A/A*
