November 2010 variant 33 Q10) part ii
Can anyone explain me please how to get the roots of p(z^2) ??? I spent a lot of time trying to get it out from the marking scheme but to no use. Please help me asap. Thank you :)

to find the roots of p(z^2) we square root the roots of P(z)
remember to square root an imaginary complex u must put it in polar form ie
modz(cos (arg)+ isin(arg))
