Guys is it acceptable to multiply 2^x (into) 3^x to be 6^x ??

nope .. the answer for Question 9 is 3! ... btw ignore Q10 I solved it and here is the picture again !

Properties to be used here :

lnx + lny = ln(xy)
lnx - lny = ln(x/y)
3lny = ln(y^3)

Then
lnx + 3lny - ln2 = ln(xy^3/2)
and
lnx^4 - ln54 = ln(x^4/54)

Then
ln(xy^3/2) = ln(x^4/54)
xy^3/2 = x^4/54
y^3 = 2x^4/54x
y^3 = x^3/27
x^3 = 27y^3
x = 3y
x/y = 3
