The width of the bridge will only matter if the train passes under it in such a way so it crosses it horizontally but the width won't matter if it passes parallel to it.so the length of the train is 120 divide that by the width of the bridge which is 20 for each 20 m of the train you will get 6.to find the time it takes for each 20 m of the train to pass under the bridge divide 20 by 40 you'll get 0.5,there are 6 parts of 20 m in the train so if you multiply that by 0.5 you'll get 3 seconds




ARE YOU SERIOUS how will the train pass on the bridge !!!!! its passes underr it dudee ! that why they said 12 is the width

:( wasn't so easy for me. Did u do 41? In a question,was the description a shear or a Stretch in 41?

Shear factor 2 x axis invariant and the answer for the pencil and pen was 20, which many of my classmates got too
