i guess u can express t in terms of (i) x using the 1st equation (i.e. work out the inverse function of the given function of x) and also in terms of (ii) y using the 2nd equation (i.e. work out the inverse function of the given function of y)
Then as both expressions in x and y respectively are equal to t, they obviously wd b equal to each other. U'll then get the cartesian equation (3 - y)/((y - 2) = (2 - x)/(x + 3) [= t]

jux use the identity that tan(2A) = 2tan(A)/[1 - tan^2(A)] and it will then b a PIECE of CAKE....;p
