lol it said theta was positive and it was reflex which means it lied in the fourth quadrant.WHAAT?? Why will tan be negative!! We never took it like that
It was written in the question Genius. How do u know that :/
yesGuys, is there an ecf in p1?
We didn't even take what a reflux angle is... I presumed it was just a normal anglewhen cos theta is reflex, the angle is in the fourth quadrant. thus, sin theta and tan theta are negative. i wish i had written that!
It was -145what was the answer for q.no 2 .I only did till 6c2 and calculated x^2 so got 15.will I get marks for this and for q.no 5 I used negative value for tan and calcualted will I get marks ?
can u guess how much marks the examiner might cut if i used acute angle instead of reflex?lol it said theta was positive and it was reflex which means it lied in the fourth quadrant.
Sin and tan are both negative in the fourth quadrant genius.
What're you talking about??Guys about the theta question you are worrying about nothing! Does NOONE remember square roots can be either positive or negative? The answer is correct. I have checked the mark scheme today, and the answer is simply the sqrt which can obviously be positive or negative!
No you don't understand what I mean. Up to the sqrt it's correct. Read my next post - we'd only lose 1 mark because of that. What're you talking about??
Dude,
sqrt 9 = 3
- sqrt 9 = -3
Of course it's not the same! And what marking scheme did you check??
