it can be solved by using substitution.
put x=Tan(Square)z
dx=2tanzsec(square)zdz
plugging in values
you will get
at numerator
2tanz sec(square)zdz
and at denominator after simplification
tanz secz
hence simplifying you will only get
2seczdz.
now integrate
and ans will be
2lnModulus of(sec z+tanz)
replace z by tan inverse x.
here is the solution.

October nov 2003 q.10 has only two parts.
one is obvious and second can be solved as.
take cross product of two direction vectors of two line.it will give you normal vector to the plane.
now take any point either of the lines because plane is containing these two lines.
hence use r.n=n.d
where n is normal vector and d is a point.
