I dont know why the answer sheet uses only the vertical component of the velocity to find the change in momentum, dont we find at first the initial vertical and final component of the vertical velocity, and then using the horizontal velocity, we find the resultant initial and final velocity, respectively. Now using THIS velocities we find the change in momentum. Am i right?
