Re: need help in question for isl paper 2, some question!

its halwa question! :D :D :D

first give introductory paragraph: the quran is primary source of islamic law, and being the Book of God only deals with major issue and remaining them to be explained by Sunnah/Hadith. The Quranic injunctions are implicit and Sunnah/hadith made explicit. They are used together from the time of Holy Prophet and their relationship is clear by this hadith of Holy Prophet.
"I have been given a book and the similar thing along with it, the Sunnah"

Example 1: Distribution of Zakat

Quotation: "Be steadfast in your prayers and pay the charity tax, and bow down your heads with those who bow down". 2.43

For rate of Zakat Holy Prophet's hadith is there naratted by ABU-SAEED AL KHUDRI : Holy Proohet said "there is no charity tax on property mounting less than 5 Uqaiya, there is no poor due on less than 5 camels and there is no charity tax on less than 5 Wasqs" Sahih Al-Bukhari Book.24 (BOOK OF ZAKAT) "uqaiya" and "wasqs" are measures of weight

Example 2: Riba

Quotation: "they say trade is like interest, and Allah has allowed trade and forbidden interest" 2.275

Hadith: "Once Holy Prophet was asked about money exchange he(PBUH) said, "if it is from hand to hand than there is no harm in it, otherwise it is not permissible" (Al-Bukhari Sahih: BOOK OF SALES)

1. Qur'an basic source of Islamic law. completely authentic/word of Allah/unchallengable rulings.
2. some times teachings a bit vague/mystrious/brief.
3. hadtih used to clarify/demystify/explain
4. sometimes no teachings as such in Quran, hadith used as a soul source in that case
5. some quranic verses regardng the relaiability of HOly Propht (s.a.w.). 3-4 in total. u'll find them n books

1.Quran is the first and sunnah is the second source of Islamic law.( Qoute a verse)
2.Quran is a comprehensive,complete,unchangeable book.
Verse: ''We have neglected nothing in this book''
3.Quran gives teachings in every walk of life.
4.But sometimes Quran is undetailed.
5.e.g Quran says,''Observe prayer and pay charity''
6.It does not explain no. of rakats, time of prayer and how to perform it.similarly it doesnot tell about how much zakat to pay.
7.Here hadith of Prophet is used.
8.The prophet said,''Offer prayer as u have seen me offering it''
He also said,''No charity tax on property mounting less than 5 uqiya''
9.Allah has give the prophet authority to give out laws where Quran is silent.
10.''Whatever Muhammad gives u take it''

Plz click ''THANKS'' :D :)
