Need help regarding Organic Chem..!! Ty !

Hi..im going to give Chemistry this May(both As nd A2 together)..
can u guys give me some tips on how to study for the organic section...
Ive tried just reading from the book..it doesnt help that much :c

its not difficult at all
just know and always understand the chemical mechanisms
all reagents and solvents must also be known

Follow the guidelines for A2.

1- Revise AS organic. There is at least 8 marks from AS organic. (J.08, J.07/Q. 6)

2- max 28-30 marks are from organic chemistry. (J.08, N.09, J.10)

3- normally benzene, phenol are given one question. Derivatives of benzene also.revise them well. (specially N. 07, N.10)

4- You should know how to distinguish between two given organic compounds. (J. 09, N.08)

5- condensation polymerization and its cross-linking approach. (J.08, N.05/Q.5 very important)

6- amino acids, proteins are very important this June 2011. Revise them thoroughly since they are also in Application booklet
so your time will be saved. (N. 08)
