I'll get straight to the point.
Advice 1 : Don't put extra pressure on yourself. You must learn your capability. If you don't think you can give extra subjects and still get straight then don't. Extra subjects only matter if you have excelled in you majors. So concentrate on your majors subjects. These are your group subjects , English and Mathematics. Remember Extra , not Additional. So this rule doesn't apply to Additional Subjects.
Advice 2 : Don't study your subjects. Play 'Em. I'll be honest . I had failed Chemistry for 2 years straight. No matter how hard i tried the result remained the same Why? Then i heard about this teacher. I'm not going to take his name as then people will start a teacher war. Anyway , after 3 months of studying from him. I managed to score and in Chemistry in my Pre-Mocks. How's that. Well look at Advice 2 , again. You must learn to play with the subject not sit like a puppet and study.
Advice 3 : Exercise your brain. If you think that you can just study and then go and get A*s , then i got some bad news. What really gives a candidate an edge in CIE , is IQ. You must be thinking that is something that's inherited. Wrong again. Intelligence can be built. How? Look at Advice 4.
Advice 4 : Take a Walk. Sounds silly. It's actually could wise. Scientists have proved that walking not only provides for healthier bones it strengthens the mind. You take a stroll , you have time to explore your head and reflect on your personality. You gain confidence and are able to express yourself better. Use the Internet instead , find out what's happening in your country that is hidden from you. How does this help. It gives you the chance to exercise your mind and make your own view of the world. Developing a more mature brain and a more mature you.
Advice 7 : Early to Bed, Early to Rise. It's silly but it is essential. the morning hours are the best to study in. A fresh mind thinks best.
