Current is inversely proportional to resistance ( I think ). So double the resistance gives u half the current, so you must find the value for X which gives a current of 1A, so when it's doubled, it gives a current of 0.5A. So you need to apply a proportion to find that out. Someone correct me if I'm wrong lol.
