A navigation buoy floating on the sea oscillates up and down as a wave passes.
In exactly two minutes, six complete wavelengths pass the buoy.
What is the frequency of the waves?
A 0.050Hz
B 0.33Hz
C 3.0Hz
D 20Hz

i'd like if you tell me the formula you're using too! thanks a bunch!! ^_^

frequency = speed divded by wavelenth

time is 2 X 60 = 120 seconds.

distance = 6 wavelength

speed= distance divded by time
speed = 6 wavelength divded by 120

subsitute that into original formula and the wave length cancels so you get 0.05hz
